Chapter Zero · Outdoor functional fitness & community adventures
The next chapter, written outside
Beginner-friendly outdoor training in Lacrosse, WI for women starting from scratch. I meet people exactly where they are at and walk with them towards total wellness — active, outside, and never on their own.
Chapter One begins with you
Be my next success story
Not Sharing Yet is three years in and still small on purpose. That means the founding group gets the thing that is hardest to buy later: my full attention, a program shaped around their real week, and a say in what this community becomes.
Client results are coming soon. I would rather show you real ones than made-up ones.
Chapter Two · Where most people are
You are not lazy. You are starting from a hard place.
- Gyms feel like a room full of people who already know what they are doing.
- You have never been shown how to do this properly, so you guess and then quit.
- Your shifts wreck any schedule you try to keep.
- Everything you have tried was indoors, fluorescent and joyless.
- Life changed and the people you used to do things with are not around anymore.
- You want to be outside but you are not sure you are fit enough to go.
- You are tired of programs that want your money more than your progress.
- You would go if someone went with you.
Chapter Three · How I coach
Four things I hold to
Meet you exactly where you are
Never trained before? Coming back after years away? Working nights and sleeping at odd hours? That is the starting line, and it is a fine one. We begin with basics that feel doable and build from there.
Functional movement for the real world
Everything we train has a job outside the session: carrying, climbing, walking further than you thought you could, getting down on the ground and back up again. Capacity you can actually spend.
Outdoors, not locked in a room
Trails, docks, open grass, early light. I refuse to limit people to a physical locked-down space. I want to help you go places, experience new things, and actually pursue an active lifestyle.
A group that walks with you
Group sessions are not just workout time. They are a safe space where people hear one another's backgrounds and become part of one another's stories.
“Movement is life-giving and communal.”
Chapter Four · How it works
From first message to first trail
Say hello
Send a note through the contact form. Tell me where you are starting from, what your week looks like, and what getting active would mean for you.
We talk it through
A real conversation about your history, injuries, schedule and nerves. Nothing gets programmed before I understand your situation.
Start with basics
Your first sessions are built around movements you can do on day one, taught properly, at your pace, with no audience judging you.
Head outside
As your capacity grows we move into outdoor group training and real fitness adventures — hikes, paddles, trails — with people who know your name.
Chapter Five · What changes
Total wellness, in plain terms
Stairs, hills, long walks, carrying everything in one trip. The everyday stops feeling like an obstacle course.
Fresh air becomes part of the week instead of something you mean to get around to.
A tight-knit group who notice when you are missing and are glad when you show up.
Confidence built from evidence: things you can do now that you could not do at the start.
Chapter Six · Straight answers
The questions people actually ask
Is this safe for my situation?
We start with a conversation about your health history, injuries and anything that worries you, and your first sessions stay inside what is comfortable. Nothing is added until the basics are solid, and you can stop or change any movement at any time.
Have you worked with someone like me?
I have spent years leading adventure activities, outdoor education and team-building for people of every ability level, from complete beginners to nervous first-timers. Meeting people exactly where they are at is the whole job.
What if I have never trained before?
Then you are exactly who this is built for. Total beginners are the default here, not the exception. We start with basics and build you up to confidently take on outdoor group training.
What if my schedule is a mess?
Shift work, nights, split days — tell me your real week and we build around it. Consistency matters more than any particular hour on the clock.
Do I need gear or a certain fitness level?
Shoes you can walk in and clothes for the weather. No fitness test, no prerequisite, no gatekeeping.
Is it affordable?
I refuse to be out to make a buck. There are cost-effective options because I want anyone working towards total wellness to be able to join. Ask me and I will be straight with you.
Chapter Seven · Who is behind this
I have always been very active — endurance events, hiking, paddleboarding, years of leading camps and outdoor education. I want to couple the things I love with my life mission: to tell my story so I can help others tell theirs.
Come get outside with us.
